Our new favorite travel hack. We landed at London Heathrow at 6:30am but couldn't check into our hotel till 4:00 pm. So we booked a day room at the airport. Since it's a Marriott and I'm Platinum Elite we even had lounge access for a quick breakfast before bed. Thanks The Points Guy for the idea.

This was an excellent find.Hotel Britannique is centrally located, making it an ideal place for a quiet, comfortable room to recharge and leave my bags during the gap between my arrival and check-in. I was fortunate that reception wasn't busy when I arrived and departed, though it was quite busy when I went out mid-day and upon departing with my bags, as there was one (very adept) clerk .

Check out was an issue. I went to reserve my room and could not check out. When I was checking out it wasn't let me. Once I left and came back the price of the hotel I was getting changed, make sense but should have locked it in if that was what was showing. The second time no issues but it cost a little more which was disappointing.
